The Jameel Deeptech Initiative 2026 is a pioneering venture building initiative designed to transform R&D STEM projects into market-ready deeptech solutions. We provide a unique blend of events, workshops, mentorship, and resources to empower the next generation of deeptech startups in Saudi Arabia.

The initiative is for STEM researchers, entrepreneurs, and teams from universities, research institutions, and industry partners across Saudi Arabia.

We focus on the health, environmental, and energy sectors.

Your venture should be at TRL 3-9, from critical function or Proof of Concept established to system proven in operational environment. We will consider all trl's but preference will be given to those that show the most potential to commercialize in the near term.

The initiative runs for 26 weeks.

No, jdti Semi-Final Challenge Event is for the top 30 teams, as chosen by our screening and selection process. It is not a standalone event.

We provide workshops, mentorship, access to resources, networking opportunities, and guidance on technology development, business models, and market entry strategies.

STEM researchers, entrepreneurs, and teams with innovative deeptech ideas in the health, environmental, and energy sectors are encouraged to apply.
