Application

Qualifying Criteria

The Jameel Deeptech Initiative 2025 is designed for STEM research projects or early-stage ventures in the Health, Environmental, and Energy sectors.

Each research project or early-stage venture must be able to demonstrate high potential for social impact and commercial success in Saudi Arabia and beyond.

We will consider all TRL levels, but preference will be given to those that show the most potential to commercialize in the near term.

Research teams or early-stage ventures will be required to be based in Saudi Arabia.

All research team members or early-stage venture members must be available for the entirety of the initiative, including all the in-person and virtual events and modules (See initiative dates below).

The Top 30 Teams
2 Days

The Top 30 research teams or venture teams are invited to attend the JDTI Semi-Final Challenge, our challenging but rewarding 2-day event at KACST.

The highest performing 9 teams, 3 from each of the tracks over the 2-days will be put forward to attend the Jameel Deeptech Initiative 2025 venture building program.

The Winning 3 Teams
1 Day

Following numerous in-person and virtual modules, the highest performing three teams, one from each of the three tracks, will win one of the great grant prizes.
